Totem - Historique
To cultivate creative values
to attract the most promising talents

In 1992 Patrick Girault and Kuki de Salvertes joined forces to create their press and publicity agency Totem to promote designers with a different approach to fashion

Kuki de Salvertes
Thanks to his 20 years in the world of fashion at the side of Yamamoto, Moschino, Alaïa, Westwood and of his own artistic sense, Kuki de Salvertes decided to open a press office devoted to the most innovative and promising young designers.
”I looked at what existed, which was not much, so I looked towards the schools to find students and to help some to launch their brands”.

After three years at Totem ,being responsable for different designers and working on specific projects, Sebastien de Brito has joined Patrick Girault and Kuki de Salvertes at the head of the agency.
He is now coordinating along side Kuki de Salvertes the whole of the press and public relations at Totem. He particularly coordinates the mens fashion department.
