CHÀNTA is a young brand established in 2018 and the name itself means “bag” in Bulgarian. The founders of CHÀNTA are two friends who live and work between Europe and the U.S. and who also share the same affinity for design, aesthetic and proportion.

Women's empowerment is the main idea that drives them in this complicated process. They strive to channel a voice to champion all the women out there in the perspective of the female gaze alone. They are expressing these values by creating a brand for women, by women.

Each one of the bags is carefully handcrafted in an atelier in Italy using a century-old technique where each piece of leather is expertly cut and fitted by one of the best Italian artisans. The founders are passionate about the preservation of craft and share an appreciation for the finest materials as every detail in the making from the painting of the leather to the last stitches is made by hand. CHÀNTA celebrates the old savoir-faire, they preserve and explore it but also strive to create something new that combines the tradition with the sense of the here and now.

The concept as well as the excellence in craftsmanship translate into a stunning collection of luxurious handbags, examined from a bold perspective. Orientated towards conscious luxury CHÀNTA stands behind the idea of fewer but better - the designs in their architectural silhouettes don’t go out of fashion but most importantly are created to maintain relevance and quality over time.
