Born in 1984, Marie-Agnès Gillot began training at the Paris Opera Ballet School at the age of 10. Marie-Agnes Gillot joined the corps de ballet aged 15 in 1990. She became "Quadrille" in 1991, "Coryphée" in 1992 and “Sujet” in 1994. During that same year she participated in the 15th International Ballet Competition in Varna (Bulgaria). Since then Marie-Agnes Gillot has participated in all major productions presented by the Paris Opera National Ballet and she has been on tour in France and abroad (Asia, Russia, Italy, Germany, USA, Lebanon...). She notably danced in "Signes" by Carolyn Carlson. After this performance, she was named "Etoile” March 18th 2004. Marie-Agnes Gillot has received the title of Chevalier of Arts and Lettres (2006). Moreover she also is the muse for famous French brands such as Chanel, Hermes and Repetto.
