by Antoine Ferrand
Self-taught photographer born in 1982, fascinated by the Japanese culture, Antoine Ferrand directed firstly short films and institutional movies, before coming back to photography. His work was inspired by the haiku, both by the treated themes and by craft technique, closer to the pictorialisme with its imperfect focusing, his vaporous black and white, its very present grain, that of the contemporary photography.
